I wanted to love this hat, seemed like it would be a warm yet lightweight option. However, I am only 5'1"/110 lbs and the bottom of my ears stick out. So the claim that it covers the ears is untrue. Also, it is not really reversible because there is a huge and ridiculous looking tag on the inside that sticks out the back when the solid side is visible, and I can't see how to remove it without damaging the hat. Might be ok for cool days that you want to stay warm for the first mile or two, and then when you warm up it is definitely light enough to take off and stick in a pocket.

I've since worn this hat on some super cold and snowy runs, and it is very warm, especially for being so lightweight. If it was maybe a quarter inch longer and had a bit thicker elastic band around the bottom it would be unbeatable. I've just been wearing a neck gaiter to keep the bottoms of my ears warm.
