I love this shoe as for its flexibility, lightweight comfort and fit. I also run in Kinvara's and am now on my 3rd pair of those but the Virrata has become my new favorite shoe. My feet just never get that "tired" feeling in them. Super lightweight but great cushioning and nice fit! They just flex with your natural foot motion. Like other posts, the inner Saucony symbol came off after the 3rd time I wore them. Only other issue with the shoe is that I do have to question durability as one of the shoe lace eyelets broke after only 54 miles on the shoe. I am returning it but have no hesitation about getting a replacement pair of this shoe. Its just that comfortable!

I have two pairs of this particular running shoe. I have the black and pink which I ran in a Half-Marathon and had no problem at all. I have the Boston Marathon shoe and I love those as well. They are my favorite running shoes so far and would recommend them 100%.

Perfect Shoe

I have been a fan of the Mirage series and decided to try these out as well. These have blown the Mirage's out of the water, the Virrata is by far the best running shoe I've ever owned. I am in training for my first marathon and will be purchasing several more pairs of these, hopefully they will be coming out with some more great color combos! Only negative, the Saucony label (on the inner face) did peel off within a couple uses but no biggie I just ripped the other one off to even it out.

I bought the Virrata after my niece recommended them. I have been "barefoot" running and was looking to get back into a shoe. I was concerned that a shoe would feel "heavy & clumsy" to me but these don't. And I have no foot or knee issues either.LOVE these shoes.

I'm training for my 8th marathon in 3 years time. I used to love the Crossfire shoe, and was devastated when I couldn't buy them anymore. I decided to try the Virrata. My first time in them was my first 20 miler. They were awesome. No rubbing, burning...I wasn't ever aware of my shoes at all. I love the look, and how light they are.

These were actually my first pair of Sauconys, and I have been incredibly impressed! I love the weight and flexibility of this shoe. So far I've logged about 60 miles on them, including two half marathons, and have yet to encounter any problems. I look forward to adding more pairs to my rotation!

Heel breaks down after 3 wearings

I've worn these shoes 3 times & the back of the heel is broke down. This is my 9th pair of Saucony's and it's the only pair I've worn that the heel as no stabilization or support. It's great that the shoe is lightweight but when the heel offers no support, the lightweight becomes a non-issue. I feel I wasted my money.

this is a zero drop shoe, designed for a minimilist runner, not a heel striker. could that explain your troubles?

I run anywhere from 9-12 miles a day (except for rest days of course), and i got these shoes because all reviews lead me to believe that theses shoes would be great for my running style. To say the least i am disappointed after only 3 runs the material is falling off (the symbol on the side). shoes feel great to run in but its not worth the price especially if there going to fall apart after only 3 runs.

I am a toe runner with an extremely high arch. I have been trying shoes for the last 3 years. I finally found the shoe! These shoes have lots of cushion in the forefoot, they are perfect!

I purchased the BLACK/CITRON/PINK and it is a great shoe. Saucony has the best selection for female shoes (above size 10) that look flattering on your feet.

I have run in many different models of shoes by Saucony and this is my favorite. I originally fell in love with the Mirage but when they created the Mirage 2 and 3, I was not impressed any longer. I sought an alternative and found this shoe. The first time I wore it on a run, I knew it was for me. It felt like I was wearing slippers while running. They need nearly no breaking in and I have not had any shin splints, foot issues or toe issues wearing them. I have just over 100 miles in them so far so cannot really comment on durability. They are great for short runs and longs runs (13miles +). I hope Saucony does not change this shoe. Maybe just come out with some more cool colors.

I am in love with the Virrata! I'll be honest, I bought these shoes at first bc I liked the way they looked (& I have had so many ppl compliment me on them!) but after wearing them all day running errands, chasing my kids around, walking the dogs, working out, I love them for a whole new reason. THEY'RE COMFORTABLE! After a full day of being super mom/wife my feet that are usually killing me, didn't hurt. To find a shoe that is stylish & comfy is a dream come true:)

I just got these to add to my line of Saucony running shoes. I wear the Kinvaras, the Kinvara Trails, and the Mirages. These new shoes are the perfect addition, for track work and short, fast tempo runs. They fit perfectly and are super lightweight. LOVE LOVE LOVE the 0 mm offset and they have just the right amount of cushioning!

Good, sturdy shoes. Will probably be good for trail runs, but I haven't really tested that out yet. Very light, very comfortable. Flashy, but not too flashy. I am recovering from an injury and feel safe and supported with these shoes.

I bought these shoes to use indoors on a trampoline bouncer . They are excellent for this purpose ,so lightweight and very comfortable . They give good support also.I love the style and color. The salesperson guided me to this selection . He put one other style sneaker on my left foot and the Grid Virrata on the right foot . I felt the comfort immediately on the Grid Virrata sneaker . I told him he was clever ,for fitting me this way . I plan to enjoy my bouncer even more now thanks to him .

I have to say I really love this shoe! I have been running in the Kinvara 3 for about a year now and was excited to try this new 0mm drop shoe from Saucony.
I am so happy I did. It is so lightweight and flexible yet has enough cushioning for longer distance runs. Keep up the good work Saucony! :)

May Have Found My Marathon Shoe

I am a big fan of minimalist shoes but when the mileage got higher, they just did not provide enough support for me. I am also a big fan of Saucony--do a lot of training runs in the Kinvara & speed workouts in the A5 so I was very excited to try the Virrata. I took it on a couple of shorter distances 5 - 7 miles and then made the leap and ran my long run this weekend in them--17 miles. No problems at all. In fact, I loved them. They did a great job here bringing the best of zero drop and cushioning together. I think I might have found my shoe for Boston.
