I absolutely love these shoes. I run pretty exclusively on the road and these shoes are extremely light weight and the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet.

Best shoe for long runs

This is the best shoe i have ever owned! It is now my go to shoe for longer runs. It provides awesome support all around the foot and keeps my foot feeling locked down and stable even when my form is falling apart towards the end of a hard run. In contrast to one of the reviews below me, I found the plastic heel support to be a fantastic addition. It adds way more support than you would expect from such a light weight shoe. I am a neutral runner, and love a light shoe. The Cortana 2 is incredibly light.. honestly, in terms of weight, i notice no difference from my Kinvaras. However, the extra support features and the cushioning really set this shoe apart. I have never run in a shoe that is so forgiving on easy slow runs, yet firms up nicely for tempo runs. Without a question, the best cushioning i have ever experienced. It absorbs all shock, but retains that bounce that makes you feel like you are moving effortlessly. Saucony definitely got it right with this one. The shoe might not look like much at first glance, but once you get moving in it, you will know right away that it was money well spent.

The Cortana 2's are my favorite running shoe. They are durable, lightweight and extremely comfortable even on the longest of runs. The light weight of the shoe coupled with the true neutral feel only enhances the joy of running. I have increased my endurance and speed while training in these shoes. I would recommend them to anyone just starting to run or seasoned veterans. They are just that good!

I have run in saucany shoes for years,and always liked them and really loved the Cortana, I have ran through about three pairs and loved them, but i bought a pair of Cortana 2 about a month ago I am very disappointed,they have a very hard black piece of plastic around the heel that hurts when on a long run 10 miles or more.

For me it is very slightly narrow because I need a very wide toe box. It has the right cushioning and it feels natural to run in. The salesman is a track guy and he said he likes it a lot too.
