So much technology, so little shoe. We’ve redesigned the look of our most popular shoe, but kept the fit, feel and ride consistent with its predecessor. The upper now features FlexFilm™, a strong yet pliable material innovation that adapts to your foot and provides a lightweight, seamless feel. Inside the shoe, anatomically-contoured memory foam heel pods secure a perfect fit. In the midsole, ProGrid™ technology provides a unique blend of responsiveness and cushion, and the heel crashpad has been beveled for an even smoother ride as the runner transitions through the gait cycle. I am a avid runner and use these shoes for all my running events and training alike. I am also a k2 fan but can't seem to find them anymore.
Right out of the box I was running 3 miles or more and now up to my normal 10 milers with no problems at all. Remember not every running shoe works for everyone. You must trial and error shoes until you find the perfect one and I have found my perfect shoe with the k3s.

I am a partially avid runner and I was not sure about purchasig this show but I am very glad that I did. It is very light and the fit of it is perfect for my foot. I would recommend that you purchase this shoe.

I had worn the kinvara 2s and had loved them. After about 700 miles and waiting WAY too long to get a new pair, I decided it was time to get a new pair, and I went with the kinvara 3s. So far they have about 400-500 miles on them. They are holding up well. I love the light weight feel to them, but I feel like the ride is too firm. The heel is worn down, but it should be with this many miles on them. I am a midfoot striker and these shoes are perfect for midfoot strikers. I am planning on sticking with the series and getting the 4s when they come out.

Worked through 600+ miles on each of the first two pairs in the last year, just bought my third pair. Have run 2 marathons and several other races. Love, love, love these shoes. Fit is great. Very light, can't stand "normal" running shoes with huge soles any more. The durability is amazing, I could still use the two old pairs but try to be disciplined about rotating them when the mileage gets up there. So far with these shoes, the injuries are way down (hard to believe because they are "less" shoe). But this may be that I'm landing on my heel as much as before because of the reduced drop. After I take them out of my running rotation, they are great for cross training too. I never really was totally comfortable with the fit from a pair of Kinvara 2's - but the 3's are perfect for me. So perfect I'm hoping the 4's don't ruin it for me. I'll try some 4's on as soon as I can, if the fit isn't as good - I'm going to stock up on 3's so I can have enough for 2 or 3 more years! That's how much I LOVE these shoes.

I was wearing Asics for awhile and needed a lighter, faster shoe. Glad I found these bad boys! Since beginning my marathon runs, I have found the k3 s to be a great shoe as far as lightness and feel for the road....so much so that I have bought 4 pairs of these! Grab a pair and run for the hills!

I needed to change the geometry of my shoe to stay healthy. Achilles tendonitis and plantars faciitis. I'm on my fourth pair of Kinvarras. I really don't notice a difference in the upgrades. But I've stayed healthy enough to increase my mileage and frequency. Basically, I can stay on the roads instead of laid up trying to heal. They get drenched in sweat in the summer but seem to hold up well even if they don't dry out by the next run. My first two pair I bought were my usual size and they were too tight. When I went up a half size they were perfect.

I ordered these for my middle school aged son who is in cross country and track. This is the second pair of shoes he we have purchased for him. They have lasted about 7 months which is pretty good for all that he does in them. I would definitely recommend them as a good running shoe.

I have really loved running in this shoe. It's really comfortable, and gives a great cushion, but it's light enough that it doesn't bother me when I run workouts. I was a little disappointed in the upper. It started to tear before I got in 100 miles, and now, at 350 miles, I've torn through it down the length of the shoe. Wear patterns on the bottom are great though, and in the shoe's defense, I finish every run with a mile downhill, so that probably contributes. Overall, great shoe, but if you're looking for something to wear for 500+ miles, I'd grab something else.

Love the kinvara2, had a few pairs that I wore out. Bought the kinvara3 and have three considerable issues. First, the lacing is not using speed-loops anymore and goes in from the top and down and around, which has left tiny blisters where the lace comes through. Second, the laces are barely long enough to tie (and I need to tie them loose enough to prevent the aforementioned blisters). Third, the heel cup is flimsier when doing a side by side comparison with the kinvara2, so flimsy that it collapses into the back of my ankle when running, leaving a blister there as well. Fourth (?) seems to be narrower because after 8plus mile runs my feet start tensing up from the constriction...was never a problem with any of my kinvara2's

loved the kinvara - my first minimalist shoe. loved the kinvara 2 (2 pairs). ordered the kinvara 3 expecting the same bliss, but something is just not right. the ride and the feel just aren't the same. not a huge fan of the upper either. kind of feel like they messed up a good/great thing (as so often happens with a favorite shoe - can't last forever). the 3 was innovated right out of my rotation.

This shoe is amazing, light and supportive. I just bought them today and right when I put it on to see how it felt, I knew I had to get them, there was no doubt about it. For me, it fit my foot like glove. PLUS the color matches my endorphin md3s. I haven't ran in them yet, I'm eager to see how many miles these shoes can take. Although I was a bit disappointed when I found out the newer generation, the kinvara 4s were coming out soon on, I was debating on waiting on the kinvara 4s or just get the kinvara 3s instead, well I got them and I couldn't be happier but I'd like to see what new features the kinvara 4s have. Hands down this shoe is AMAZING, get it if your serious about running.

This shoe is really light, which I love. It seems durable yet I'm still breaking them in. My biggest complaint is that for a 15W, it only comes in one color (so it seems), and it's the worst color of them all (blue). I would recommend at at least one other more masculine color be available in 15W.
I have tried about 20 different pairs of running (minimalist) shoes and none would fit right. I wanted to love the Veratta, but it doesn't come in wide. The soles were way too narrow. The Kinvara fit the best, so I am hoping to stay with this shoe. Thanks!

This is an outstanding shoe for anyone looking for minimal/no support. I am a midfoot-toe striker and these work wonderfully for me. They are light, comfortable and provide enough support for me. My only issue would be that they appear to be a bit narrow compared to typical running shoes.

I've worn the Kinvara 2 for long runs and marathons since they came out, owning 5 pairs. I was excited for the upgrade and the new color choices. I put a total of 50 miles on the Kinvara 3, and felt like each one was struggle. My foot just doesn't sit right in these, maybe the upper is putting my foot in strange position, I don't know. Quality is excellent, color choices are excellent, after 50 miles there was no wear so they seem durable. I just don't like running in these shoes.

With this shoe, Saucony really went the extra mile in delivering a product that is light, supportive, performance oriented, minimally constructed, and true to its value in pricing. The entire varsity distance squad in my high school owns this shoe, myself included. I run 40 miles a week in this shoe, and am willing to confidently state that this in my opinion is the best high performance training tool on the market. This shoe will make you a better runner by training your muscles through it's minimal design. At the same time, after a 13 mile longrun, your feet remain light and heavily supported. Well done Saucony. Every serious athlete should own this shoe.
