I have known of Saucony for years, probably since 2002/03, and I am pleasantly pleased. This was my first pair that I bought and as my tagline says, I'm usually a Nike guy but due to how good of a product the Grid9000 is, this will not be my last pair. They seem to fit similar to the Air Max line by Nike, the Gel Lyte line by Asics and the 996/574/998 lines by New Balance. If you are looking for a style that you won't find amongst the mainstream brands as well a comfortablity, buy Saucony.

This shoe is so BEAST! If you love classic runners, you can't go wrong with the all leather upper Grid 9000, which helps the shoe's carry its weightless feel. The midsole is very soft and conforms very well to the foot over time. GET EM NOW!

The Grid 9000 is a hidden gem amongst all the overly hyped retro runners out there. Its made with breathable mesh at the toe, neoprene upper sockliner and sturdy but very comfortable insole.
I really like these new Fall colorways that are coming out. Without a doubt these are best retro runner out there at an affordable $80 price point for sure.
Note: The 9000s do run about a half size large just like the Shadow 5000s and 6000s. So if you want a snug/flush fit you'll want to go down a half size down. the Fit is comparable to Air max 90s.

Very happy with this colorway as a general release. Quality is pretty good for the price. Slight blemishes in the seude but that is normal. Great comfortable sneaker to wear all day.
