I ordered these online. I have purchased Saucony Cohesion and Cohesion TR in the past. I simply ordered the same size and they are a perfect fit.
Good stability and nice feel. I expect these shoes to last for a long time and provide good comfort for my runs.

I got this trail shoes a few weeks ago. I run accross very rugged terrain, up and down the hillsand these shoes provide excellent support and stability. Additionally, its light weight makes it even better. Very confortable with excellent grip... I would recommend it to anyone running trails

I really like the concept and comfort of this shoe. Treads are excellent for trails. However, the decorative rubber stripes bonded to the mesh material are separating form the material. Too bad. I hope it is just this pair!

I think this is one of the best athletic shoes I've ever purchased considering looks, comfort, and durability. I particularly found the attention to detail and the quality of construction exceeding my expectation. However, the shoe is a little pricey.

I recently bought these for hiking in Colorado and they out performed everyone's hiking boots with me. These shoes have excellent grip, lightweight, and ankle support plus with water repellent they kept my feet dry crossing multiple streams. I could not have gotten any shoes anywhere that would have performed as well as these. I recommend these to anyone for hiking, trail running, backpacking, or just working. They can handle it all and be comfortable.

Finally, a TRUE trail running shoe - it has ankle support!

These are the only official Trail Running shoes being made. The Outlaw are TRUE trail runners as they're the only ones with 3/4 ankle support - all other 'TR' shoes with standard, low-cut, ankles are just dangerous gimmicks, with just more tread, which rarely makes a difference - you may as well trail run in a lighter, just as grippy, Kinvara. The Outlaw weighs: 11.68oz/331g [UK 7.5/US 8.5]; 11.39oz/323g [UK 7/US 8], according to my scales. Most of the weight is due to the thick trail-running sole grip - 'ProGrid'. They are very light considering how well made/protected they are [solid plastic protecting the mesh upper at the toe and heel]. The 3/4 cut boot DOES NOT prevent ankle rolls, however, the truly damaging ankle rolls are ones where you roll over on the outside of your little toe, using the length of the foot as leverage on the ankle. These boots DO prevent the dangerous ankle rolls which start from the front of the foot by keeping the foot flat and your toes raised, encouraging a mid-foot strike, which is much safer for trail running. The Outlaw seems very well-made and mine have no real damage after about 100 miles, in mostly muddy conditions. They have surprisingly good water-resistance, and are snow-proof. Only Wellies are water-proof, and these are not Wellies, plus feet get wet with sweat from running anyway! Inov8 has one, the 286 GTX, that claims to be 1.5oz lighter, but they're not advertised as for running use, just walking - too rigid? Plus, the Inov8 doesn't look very robust and has one of those dangerous gaps on the tread of the sole, making a slippery, deep arch gap, which is nasty when you tread on tree roots. The Outlaw is much better value too. Great for night trail running safety. Could do with being closer to 10oz and having a prettier design/better colours though.

Good teeth with a barefoot feel

I work at Campmor and have many trail running shoes to chose from, but I have chosen the Outlaw 3 times now! The heel-toe drop on this shoe is very low, and allows for comfortable mid-foot striking and a full range of motion for the calf and foot. The sole disperses sharp points of rock and allows for high speed maneuvering through rugged terrain. The lugs on the out sole are among the best traction patterns i have ever seen on any trail shoe or hiking boot! The shoes grip well on loose leaves, wet & heavy snow, open rock slabs, mud, and roots! The high top allows them to form a good seal with running gaiters. I do not lace them to the top, I put my knot down (double surgeon's knot) on the third eyelet from the top, to ensure full range of motion. I trained for 400 miles and finished a 50K trail race in 06:03:39 using two pairs of Outlaw sneakers!
I love this shoe! Everyone I trail run with eventually buys a pair and they all like it as well!

Feels great for a 3/4 top

Lightweight and comfortable for a 3/4 top shoe. Provides a great feel on uneven terrain and grip was spot on in wet muddy conditions. Definitely not water resistant, toes became damp after minimal muddy stretch, but doesn't claim to be.

I took my new ProGrid Outlaws on a 13 miler over varied terrain, they performed very well ( traction, lightness, breathability and support). The only qualm was the lack of arch support from the insole which I solved by replacing it with my SuperFeet insoles purhased at Fleet Feet in Colonie NY (a great store with a good staff by the way! )

Really liked the comfort, feel on the trails, extra ankle support and traction but bought these shoes only 1 month ago (Less than 100 miles) and the outside is ripping out. Just wonder if anybody else has had this problem. Like the shoe but can't afford another pair to rip out this fast.
