Lots of really great positives on these shoes...
-Great foot bed cushion,
-Breathable upper keeps feet mostly dry
-My pair held up beautifully for nearly 600 miles (and they still LOOK great - they just don't feel as great anymore).

I'm a supronator and most shoes with arch support push me out further and I was having tendon and ankle pain. I was professionally fit for this shoe after having a bit of a shoe failure on another model - not sure if the gait analysis was wrong or if my gait changed - but the other brand wasn't working. The Ride 4's were perfect and with the right shoes I was able to increase my distance from about 10 miles a week to 40-50 miles a week over about a 12 week period. Since then I've logged over 600 measured miles on them before it was clear it was time to go shopping again for a new pair of kicks.
Again with the gait analysis and trying 5-6 different pairs of shoes about an hour later I left the store with another pair of the ride 4's - in different color scheme, but very happy with the new pair and a mere 12 hours later and they already have 8 miles on them :-)
The old pair still have enough cushion for around the house and around town - they still LOOK new!

I have worn this shoe for only 6 months & I wore them approximately once a week and only for walking. These shoes have not held up. There are holes that have begun to emerge in both shoes in the toe area. Very disappointed by the durability of this product.

This is the second pair I bought of these- I have always worn a different brand but after an injury, I went to a specialty store and was fitted for these. I can not say enough about them, they are comfortable, light, and feel great while I'm running! These are definitley my new favorite brand!

Love this shoe! I like that it comes in a narrow because my foot has always wanted to slip forward in tennis shoes during running or aerobic exercise. The narrow keeps it in place and my feet are so happy! I bought a larger size than I wear in street shoes due to this fact and they fit perfect. Don't need any other work out shoe. Looks way better than in the pictures when you get them. Highly recommend this shoe.

I ran in the Mizuno Wave Rider for years without any injuries then converted into Asics - big mistake! After a year long stress fracture I'm finally recovered and I have been in the Ride for the past couple of months. it's even better than what I had experienced in the past years with the Wave Rider. Fit is perfect and is ideal for a neutral foot. Love Saucony!!!

This is the second saucony running shoe that I have purchased and I love it! Running in these shoes is like running a cloud!! I tell all of my running friends about these shoes, and I will never buy another brand again. I do wish, though, that the design team can make the shoe look a bit "cooler" as I believe the outside of the shoe should match the make of the shoe!!

Great shoe!!! I have only had this pair for a week, but it is very comfortable. I had the Ride 3 before this pair and was very happy with them also. (I wore them out) I have a nuroma at the base of my toes and it is very painful to just walk sometimes, never mind trying to work out. I have bought so many different shoes until I found these. Please don't stop making them. My only complaint is that this is the only color I can get in a wide in my size. I would love to wear the cool colors.

I kept having reoccurring shin splints, and tried everything to get rid of them. I went to a specialty running store and these were recommended for my foot since my right foot turns in when I run. This gives my feet the arch support I need and they are very comfortable (and pretty cute too-I got the black and pink)! I have not had shin splints since I bought these. They've been through 1 half marathon, and lot's of walking (since I'm pregnant), and post baby they will go through at least another half or full marathon. I've always loved Saucony because they are a little wider in the toes, so my feet don't get crammed in there. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes to anyone who needs good arch support.

My all-time favorite running shoe

I have been wearing the Saucony Ride for years now. I was fitted in a specialty running store, and these are what they recommended. I love them so much, that when I have put 200 or so miles on them, I simply order another pair. I don't even care that the models are new and that there are different features and colors. I know that the Ride is all I will ever wear for running. These shoes keep my foot from moving too much and do not require cinching down of the laces. There are no rub points from seams. It also flexes well. I have never had a blister or black toe nail while wearing these shoes. I always have at least three pair, so that I can rotate them and keep the wear even. The old Rides are used for mud runs and for donations. They hold up well enough to continue using them casually.

This is my first pair of Saucony's but it won't be my last. They are soooo comfy and I love the open mesh toe area that lets my feet breathe - I can wear them without socks which is surprisingly comfortable. Haven't had them long enough to rate their durability but they seem very well constructed and a quality product. I very definitely recommend this shoe!!

I have plantar fasciitis (heel pain) and had a custom fit orthotic insole made. Nothing was comfortable until I put the hard custom made orthoditc UNDER the soft, cushiony insole in this shoe. It's the perfect combination, and I am finally walking pain free!

I actually use these for WORK. I am a nurse and I'm on my feet for twelve hour shifts. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis so I needed a shoe with great support, cushioning, and plenty of room in the toe box. These are the best shoes I've found in forever. They are awesome. They feel great when I start the shift and my feet feel great at the end of it. Kudos on this great shoe....

I haven't had these too long...I have worn Saucony's for many years with great results. Last year I had bi-lateral Achille's Tendon surgery to allow my ankles to bend and have some flex in my feet. I pronate out and these shoes seem to be holding my foot firm, but in a very comfortable way. I have very short feet, and a very high instep, so fitting me is not easy. The roomy toe box is a huge issue for me to allow my toes to relax and not return to hammer toe. I also have bi-lateral lymphedema and wear stockings, so these shoes allow the air to flow and keep my feet dry and cool. I go to the gym 3x a week and walk on a treadmill and use the Eliptical along with leg press, leg curl and leg extension machines. My feet no longer hurt or become wet from being too hot.

The first time I put these shoes on I ran for 55 minutes and my feet felt great. I'm hesitant to rate durability since I've only had the shoes for a week now, but I've already racked up some mileage in them and they still feel and look great. I also have knee problems. I'm not going to say the shoes are miracle workers... my knees still bother me during and after a run, but they've definitely reduced the amount of pain and how early it sets in on the run.

I bought these shoes because my old ones had worn out and I needed a shoe in which I could run long distances without my shin splints affecting my performance. These shoes were very comfortable and after a 10k on pavement my shins felt great! They provide me with a means of training for long distance track events without injuring myself for the season.

I recently had a bunionectomy on each foot and tried many shoes trying to find something comfortable to wear post surgery shoe. These were the only shoes with enough cushioning to allow me to walk normal (or as normal as possible after surgery). It's now been six months and I'm very excited to try running again. I'm ordering a new pair for the best support. I'm confident these will give me the support I need to get back in shape.

I first got fit at a specialty running store......this was not one of the shoes they gave me to try. I tried ALL the shoes in the store and this is only one that felt great. It is light, and has good stability for a neutral shoe. My fav feature is how it roll off the toe, little effort to propell forward. I started wearing the Progrid Ride 3, I have had 2 pair. I wanted to try the ride 4, said there were good updates, I can not tell diff in the ride or fit, but the colors are much better than Ride 3! Thanks for the update in colors! I use this shoe for outdoor use and the Kiavarna for TM, both excellent shoes for neutral runner. I wear 6 1/2 to 7, and bought 7.

I have worn Rides for years. RIde 4 does not fit as well as Ride 3. I am not happy with the cushion or the arch support. I'm going to try and see if there are any Ride 3's out there on the interet!
