I have always purchased Reeboks & Nike running shoes to walk in because the running shoes are lighter & I am very petite.
I discovered the Saucony Excursion TR6 & my feet felt so great after my 1st walk!!!!!!!!!! No breaking in the shoe , it is a perfect fit, excellent to walk or run in, great color selection & fast delivery.
I hope this sneaker never goes out of stock!!!!!!! Most companies are making very strange, almost alien like looking sneakers with very strange color combos that someone over 50 will not wear!

I enjoyed your TR-4 and have been getting them for a few years now, however the supply ran out. The TR-6 is not as comfortable and I prefer the lighter colors, so the black was not what I really wanted. I ordered a 7 and a half, but it was too big. I was getting a 7 and a half in the TR-4 and it fit great. I think there was more cushion in the TR-4. I sent it back for another $12. I don't think I will order shoes online again that I have never tried.

I LOVED this shoe but it was way to wide for me in the medium width. I need a narrow shoe. I also wished it came in other colors and in a running shoe version.

I love these shoes - the style, the fit, and the black/grey/teal color. I use them primarily for walking (on the street and on the hiking trail) and they are like walking on air - so comfortable. I will definitely buy them again. Don't stop manufacturing them.

I bought my first pair 2 yrs ago & love them. Bought a pair of mens for my 85 yr old dad & he wishes they came in a dress shoe too. They do wonders for his feet!!! The only drawback that I have right now is they come mostly in black with small amounts of color. Wish they came in brighter colors for spring.

Have bought this shoe for a few years now, so I've had more than 4 pair. I think I started with Excursion3. This latest model, Excursion6 seems less comfortable and more cheaply made than the previous versions. I bought online because I couldn't find my size in the store. I got the black because that was all that was available. Delivery was quick, but in the future I will buy in person.

I have suffered a nagging Achilles injury and been unable to run for while. I was vising NYC and needed a pair of comfortable walking shoes. I stumbled into DSW and purchased these. I got home and decided to try them on the track and was amazed to find I am able to run in them with no pain! They remind of the old cross-trainers - comfortable to both walk and run! Highly recommend them

Based on another review ordered 1/2 size larger and that was snug in length. Heel so big my foot slid out. A very stiff shoe and not well padded so found it hurt my feet just to walk around the house. Had to send them back for $12 UPS so free shipping to me was not a good deal. I have had two other pairs of Sauconys that were wonderful - neither seem to be made any more. Will stick to store shopping in future.

My only complaint about this shoe is that it fits wide around my ankle. I have tried tying the shoelace tighter, but it doesn't always work. It doesn't interfere with running. It slipped off my foot when I was pushing a bag.
Otherwise, I would rate the appearance and comfortable at an 8+.

My Favorite Running Shoe

I LOVE these shoes! I have extremely high arches and mild overpronation and these shoes give me stability and support. I have put around 300 miles on these shoes in the past 6 months and they still feel amazing. My short run is 4 miles and I run 10 miles every Saturday and I never feel discomfort.
You can not get better for this price either. I decided to "upgrade" to the Triumph 9, which was twice the price, and they do not compare to these at all. The only problem I have had is that the seams around my big toes are coming undone and I can almost poke my toes through. I'm pretty sure that's just because I bought my regular shoe size and I should have gone up a half size.
