My closet is full of failed sneakers from being an optimistic flat footed runner-in-training. A year ago, after much experimentation, I had found a shoe that worked best for me compared to all others. With that shoe it was all about reaching an even level of foot pain no matter if it was a half mile or a half marathon. Any other shoe had too little arch support and would cause even more pain...these were the best shoes i could find... until the kinvara. I stumbled upon the kinvaras and actually had a bad first run with them probably because I was used to heel striking with my "opposite of minimalist" shoes. So i set them aside with plans to use them as water shoes- except on the first chance I had to use them as water shoes, my friend decided to go for a 4 mile trail run instead. I agreed, expecting that I would be in absolute agony by the end. I was completely astounded that it was the easiest 4 miles I have ever run. The arch support is non-intrusive, but a perfect level. The low heel to forefoot differential really makes a difference in how you run- for the better. Most of all- I am building up muscles in my feet, ankles, and calves that were not used in my other sneakers- and it is helping my flat feet in general. In addition, it is nice to have such light and weightless shoes after switching from such clunky shoes. I cannot say enough great things about these shoes.

MY DAUGHTER IS THE ONE WHO STARTED ME BACK TO RUNNING AFTER A 6 YEAR BREAK .SHE SUGGESTED THE KINVARA 2 .I ALWAYS RAN IN SAUCONY SHOES BUT THIS WAS A NEW SHOE FOR ME STARTED WITH THE HURRICAINES YEARS AGO.THIS SHOE IS GREAT .I AM NOT A FAN OF OF THE 3'S AS MAY OTHERS HAVE STATED.PLEASE BRING BACK THE 2'S JUST LIKE THE OLD HURRICAINE 5'S WHY RUIN A GOOD THING.THEY HAVE A MUCH BETTER HEEL GRIP AND ARE LIGHT AND FIT LIKE A GLOVE.

I started reading into barefoot running and thought I would give it a shot, seeing how running heel to toe can be bad for your knees. Many people have suggested the Saucony Kinvara 2, and I'm glad I listened to them. I got my Kinvara 2s right after the Kinvara 3s came out and I'm not exactly a long distance runner (1-2 miles every morning), so I thought the K3s wouldn't be a practical buy for me. I'm really pleased with the results of my K2s. The first time I tried them on at the store, I felt like I was running on a cloud. It also feels great on your feet when you can feel the air rush into your shoe through the mesh material! Plus, they're so light! And after a run, the only thing that hurts are my calves (need to build those muscles up)! Love these shoes, but I suggest that you don't run on trails with large rocks. The soles of mine started tearing a bit and I found a tiny thorn logged in the sole. I'm starting to look for trail shoes now. (I'm considering the Saucony Kinvara TR or Nike Free 5.0 V4... Most likely SAUCONY though!)

Full Marathon - No Blisters!

I just ran my first full marathon on Sunday - my feet did awesome in my Kinvara 2's! In August I went through a panic of trying to find the right shoe. I had been running in zero-drops but as my mileage crept up over 10 they didn't provide quite enough support. I tried a couple different "full support" 8-10mm drop shoes and they felt terrible. The Kinvara 2's were the 6th shoe I tried and they were exactly what I was looking for. I like the minimal shoe feel but there is plenty of support in these to make it through the long runs. I'm searching the internet to find another pair in my size so I can stock up and be ready with my next pair when these go!

This is a great shoe, and I have been searching the web trying to find more in size 8. I am really disappointed that Saucony have discontinued it. My feet feel totally at home in these shoes and I have run four marathons and other race distances in perfect comfort.
The Kinvara 3's are OK; but they have a tall heel counter that irritates either side of my Achilles.
The Kinvara 2 wasn't "broken" so why fix a good thing? Please bring them back:)
I have talked to other runners and shoe store owners who say the same.

BRING BACK THE 2!!

As a long-time 2 wearer, I have to say the 3 doesn't work for me. The lacing system on the 2 is so much more comfortable. I use Xtenex laces, and working them through the side of the actual shoe (rather than the eyelets that are to the inside on the 2) makes them very painful on the top of my feet. They are not as comfortable. I ran 8 miles in my 3s this morning, feet hurting all the way. When I got home, I put on my very old 2s just to run a cool-down with the dog. They felt SO much better!

This is my second pair of the Kinvara 2's. They are lightweight and extremely comfortable. Easy to run in right out of the box -no hotspots. Great for up to 10-13 mile runs!

I run outside through different parts of the city each time i lace up. Regardless of if i'm on pavement, grass, dirt, etc these shoes hold their comfort, fit and performance. They are light without being unsupportive. I bought them after my dad ran a 12k trail race in switzerland and couldn't stop talking about how much he loved them. Definitely recommend them .

I was really excited to order these shoes since I live in Germany and the availability to buy Saucony's is very limited. I was disappointed when I received them and they were too small and I had to pay to ship them back. The website states that it is not set up for exchanges at this time, so I was to re-order from the website. I will wait until I get back to the US next year to buy another pair.

I just bought these shoes and they are amazing! They are so light its crazy! They are the best of both worlds! They are a great minimalist shoe but still has awesome padding where you need it. I have a mid foot strike and it helps my foot roll forward naturally. I will recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I both bought a pair of these in January. I was a little worried since they aren't as supportive as my normal Saucony trainers and I have bad knees. I love this shoe! It is so lightweight and more supportive than you would expect. Even currently training for a marathon I haven't had any adverse affects from "down-grading" from the super supportive shoes. Glad I took a chance. Bought a few more pairs since!

I love this shoe, great support, airy and light!! The last pair of Saucony's I bought were the Kinvara 1. It was a very comfortable shoe like this one but the material ripped out in several places. I am hoping the Kinvara 2 doesn't rip out so easily. But it is a great shoe!!

I absolutely love these sneakers. I love the look and they are so comfortable. They are so light and airy. However, I have had them less than a year (running on average 3 miles per week) and I just noticed that they are ripping on the top around my pinky toe on both sneakers. So disappointed because I do LOVE them.

Love these, great for the 25-30+ degree celcius weather. Light and airy (my feet don't sweat). I like to use these when it's hot out. Less so when there is a bit of sleet/snow on the ground. Great colors too.

I have Osteoarthritis in both knees. These shoes allow my knees to relax in their normal alignment with my leg and have eliminated all the pain I normally have just with walking. These are my miracle shoes. My Doc is amazed at the relief I have received. I work in the field and do alot of daily walking, climbing, bending. These shoes make it so easy and without knee pain!! I have already ordered 3 more pairs! I am your biggest fan! Keep up the great work!! These are my shoes for life. Love the colors!
