I have never had Saucony's before, but I was looking for a vegan shoe. I would always buy New Balance running shoes because I kinda grew up with them, so I was used to it, but I really wanted to make my running shoes vegan, so I decided to try these out. They are awesome. So comfortable. I could wear these shoes forever. No wonder Saucony has been around for years! I was not expecting this at all.
I wasn't sure if I would get the Jazz or the Bullets, but Jazz looked more like an outdoor shoe and Bullet looked like a track shoe. I jog a lot. I always use an arch insert because my doctor told me to. It helps my my flat feet and my bad knees. But really, these shoes have been so great. I really wish I tried them years ago, but I'm pretty much sold for life!
Looking through the reviews, it was hard for me to find a lot of people talking about how they felt running, but they are a soft, smooth run for me. They're very light and have excellent support.
I can't say how long they'll last, but maybe after buying my next pair, I'll have a better grasp of that. That is why I only put "average" for durability.
I'm very excited about these shoes. You should buy them in many colors. That's my plan.

I love that this is a stylish vegan shoe, that not only looks good but is extremely comfortable. They are my everyday shoe. I'm lucky in the fact that I work in a casual industry and can wear these everyday.

I like Saucony shoes. This review is for the slip on version of the vegan low pro. It is super comfy and good for a daily walk around at work or the neighborhood. Not a running shoe because it is slip on which means it can slip off. I hope they keep making them. I would buy another pair.

These shoes look VERY nice and are VERY comfortable!
However, a pair of mine was intact for nearly 3 months of simple urban walking. Then I noticed that the sole on one shoe has slightly separated from the rest of the shoe in the heel area. Over time the gap has grown pretty much, and the story repeated with the second shoe. I did not wear them for several months now as they're not suitable for cold weather, but I anticipate them to break down completely the next summer.
Another bad thing that they are claimed to be made of natural materials ("Canvas and hemp create the classic design"). In realty they are made of synthetic nylon fiber.

This shoe is great. The collapsible flexible neoprene heel is strange at first but is actually very comfortable and makes it so you can collapse the shoes significantly which is great for packing. Overall light, comfortable stylish shoe with the bonus of being made from sustainable resources. This is my 3rd pair and I will definitely be buying more.

I have had a heartbreaking relationship with these sneakers. They are incredibly comfortable & when new, really nice. But they SHRED so quickly that they have a very short life and get embarrassingly shabby within an unacceptably short period of time. Measured in weeks, not months.
I will probably give in and buy another pair but wear them only while working at home or something. I do wish they would get some kind of design upgrade, perhaps more rubber on the uppers or some other materials.

I ordered the navy/gray option. It is stylish for my unsophisticated taste, although I was surprised that it is just a slip-on and cannot be laced up. Because it is fairly flimsy and does not provide enough support, it cannot be called a walking or running shoe though is fine for limited getting around. It looks like a "sneaker" but really is not, and it won't accomodate a thicker sock. Although I ordered my usual size 11, with an REI athletic sock it pinches my toes. I am pleased to see a product, however, that is made without any animal products. Saucony deserves commendation for that. Now build a better design into it.

We love vegan shoes, but...

My husband is a very picky guy when it comes to shoes. He literally wears the same pair EVERY DAY for a year or so and then when they disintegrate, we buy a new one. Last December I got him these shoes as a holiday gift. He put them on and RIGHT AWAY he was thrilled with how they fit and felt. However, like the above, they reached a day, maybe August or September, where they got holes/shredding/etc ALL AT ONCE. I just bought him a new pair of the same, but I wish they were more durable. I think that his older shoes lasted longer bc they were ballistic nylon/rubber but we are willing to take the shorter shoe life in exchange for a shorter landfill life. I have the same pair (in women's); I wear them when running (alternating with several other pairs) and I like them. I wish there were a way to make these natural products more durable, but...

Bought these looking for something casual, but comfortable, so that I could wear them to work. They were a little stiff at first, but I've got them broke in now, and they feel great. I wear them every day and enjoy how light and breathable they are. Would definitely recommend them and consider buying another pair.

Look carefully at the selections, specifically the navy/grey option. (I purchased the brown in September 2012, which don't appear to be for sale any longer#. You'll notice that the navy/grey option doesn't have padding around the ankle, which is what I was looking for, something very minimal. Unfortunately these particular styles of the group have fixed elastic laces, and elastic heels. It would have been nice for this to have been specified. My pair fit comfortably tight, kinda like socks, which is great because I got them specifically to wear without socks#they don't work well with socks). They breathe well too. However, the toes of the soles aren't glued down... When you warm up this becomes a problem as they stick to your feet, not the shoe, and bunch up when quickly changing direction). This becomes even more annoying when you try to pull off the shoes and the front of the soles come out.
Glue the soles all the way, heel to toe, and the elastic can be passable. Glue the soles, get rid of the elastic, and put in actual laces, while keeping all else the same and these shoes would be awesome.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable almost like being barefoot. It is great for wearing around the house or for quick trips to the store & walking short distances. It does not have the support I like due to the elasticity for distances over a mile or more but I am very pleased with this shoe.I normally can't wear sandles or flip flops without having foot pain but this shoe so far has not caused any problems even though it is extremely light & very comfortable.

I purchased the burgundy and white low pro vegen. The heel and laces are elastic but the size is true fit. Ive own my pair for 3 weeks and overall, Im very please considering the low price. These shoes are mainly worn while lounging and I dont recomend them for hiking in the hills because of the loose heel causing your foot to slip out. I love theses shoes because they are made from recycled resourses, with no animal products.

Liked the shoe but, the size I ordered was too small for me. I still don't know what size I need in shoes that are different from what I normally order because the sizes are slightly different. I really hate to order and pay for shipping just to send them back to find my size. I also think a more expensive shoe might be better for the support I need.

I don't know that I'll be running marathons in these sneakers, but they are comfortable, lightweight and provide enough cushion for city walking and long pooch walks. I like the fact they are vegan, too. Very good deal for the price I paid.

I got the vegan jazz low pro to play golf in. I love the lugs on the bottom. The shoe gives me plenty of support, and is light and comfortable. I love the colors and style,. I plan on buying one more pair for golf, and another pair of regular jazz low pro to knock around in. I have worn my last pair for several years and they are still good to go. Most comfortable shoe I have ever had.

I bought this pair of Saucony because I'm vegetarian. And it's not so easy to find shoes made from non-leather materials and which will look nice. This model looks good but have a very bad ventilation.
